The tea contains a good proportion of the youngest 'tippy' leaves, a sign of careful plucking and good quality. When brewed the liquor is light and golden coloured, and the tea has a pronounced aroma and sweet, slightly peppery flavour.

This tea needs to be brewed for 5-7 minutes to bring out the flavour, and can be served with milk for breakfast or afternoon tea.
